I discovered QAF in 2006 (pretty late boomer, I know) when I stumbled upon the prom dance clip in YouTube. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, granted I have never seen 2 guys being so intimate before. Out of curiosity, I watched a few more episode snipplets on YouTube. Facinated by them, I bought the DVD from Amazon. Then googled about qaf and found fanfics on the web. Got hooked ever since.
I do want to give credit to url_girl for creating cute doodles which I shamelessly took and use as my user icon. I use that icon as my IM icon, as my cellphone background and as my work laptop background as well!
Well... what else I can tell you? I do have a day job. And my favorite hobby other than QAF is to read books during my subway ride to work. I mix up my reading a bit with some chick fics (love Cecilia Ahern's "PS I Love You"), some science (highly recommend "Introduction to Quantum Mechanics" and Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time"), some non-fic (At the top of my list: Mitch Albom's "Tuesdays with Morrie", Randy Pausch's "The Final Lecture", and Pauline Chen's "Final Exam: A Surgeon's Reflection on Mortality")
